Kirsten Kelly, a resident of Ohio was fired from her waitressing job soon after she posted an angry rant on Facebook. The post Kelly left on Facebook is about her dissatisfaction of tips she earns at her job.
‘If you come into a restaurant and spend $50 or more, you should be able to tip appropriately for that,'
According to the Huffington Post, a friend of hers on Facebook screenshotted a picture of Kelly's post and angrily showed it to the manager, believing the post was about her. Promptly, Kirsten was fired, but is confused as to why and claims that her employer had no right in firing her due to the 1st Amendment of the Constitution. Others claim that "She knows the people, they have mutual friends on FB. Did she not think her post would be seen? She probably could have gotten away with a little rant, but to post a derogatory name was going too far."
